Hi guys, I have a PC I use as a gaming rig/media server. I watch a bit of 3d content and it has always worked fine prior to me installing my new GFX card. I just click the 3d button select side by side and good to go. SInce the GFX card was installed it just wont recognise 3d content.

Before its suggested I have checked and there is no way to force the TV into SBS mode and yes if I plug the HDMI directly into the MB it does still recognise 3d contet as it always did.

DO I need some extra software or something? Seems very strange.

THanks for any advice/help guys :)

try to uninstall all GPU drivers and do a clean install of all drivers (GPU) check if that helps. Also, remember you need a player and 3D content to play 3D stuff, like a movie, then you set your TV to SBS (connected via HDMI) and go ahead, VLC player is a great software to watch 3D content

Thanks for the replies guys. I am using XBMC (or KODI depending on what you want to call it) and VLC. The content Im watching is SBS and I have tried a few different films that have worked fine prior to the GFX card coming aboard.

XBMC generally tells my TV that 3D content has started and it auto switches but now even if I manually switch XBMC to 3d content the TV wont allow it.

I will give the fresh driver install a shot and see how that goes. I will report back :)

Thanks guys,

Just a quick update. I have gone back to the drawing board and uninstalled my drivers then installed again with no luck.

I am thinking that fudgecakes99's post may hold the answer but Im a bit of a noob and didnt really understand the instructions or what the solution was. Is there specific software required or that emitter kit?

If it comes down to buying more stuff or just switching which HDMI I am using each time I want to watch 3D I will disappointedly be switching HDMI's each time.

Thanks for any further advice guys :)
