Hi! So, my old pc suddenly stops working. I believe it's because the power supply got broke. Since it's an old pc why not purchase a new one. The pc that i will purchase doesn't have a hard drive on it so i will used the old one i have. My question is How to install the old hard drive (HDD) to a new PC without losing all the files i have on it? Thanks!

If you are just changing the PSU and not the motherboard etc, you can just put it in the case and plug into the motherboard without any loss and boot up as if nothing happened :D
If you are changing the motherboard aswell, then you need to create a new partition of your HDD as you will have to re-install windows 7. You can do this all on the same partition, but the old windows will just become windows.old in your folder, so i find it cleaner to do a new partition.

HI! Yes it will be an overall new pc hardware from the case to motherboards except the HDD which comes from my old PC. What i'm worrying here is the lost of my files. Since you've said here that the old windows file will just in an old folder then that;s good too hear. Thanks!

After reinstalling Windows, you will have to reinstall all programs because the new Windows will not have any Registry entries which tell the OS how to run the programs. Games in Steam or Origin can be transferred over.
