Hey guys so i recently tried my hand at building a gaming PC myself, it went quite well and i am very happy with the end result. I do however have a few issues i was hoping you could help me out with.
Specs:
PSU: EVGA 750 G2
MoBo: Gigabyte 970A - UD3P Rev 2.0
CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: Powercolor R9 290 4Gb GDDR5
HDD: 1TB Western Digital Blue.
RAM: 8GB DDR3 HyperX Fury
Operating System: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

1) Can't activate any Mobo functions. so by this i mean no matter what key i press at the mobo screen all i get is a black screen and i am forced to restart my comp. as of yet this has been a minor inconvenience because i cannot open my bios to update them but i am a bit concerned by this because i have never seen this before. What can i do to sort this and get into my bios?

2) Nor sure if this is related but the MoBo screen resolution does not match my monitor, the whole page does not fit in my screen.

3) This is the biggest issue I have. My PC keeps randomly freezing, and i mean total freeze. Cant move the mouse, no keys work and i am forced to hard reset the comp. the screen however stays on the monitor indefinitely but i have to reset the comp myself. Do note however that this has happened only once since I installed a hotfix from Microsoft and that was when i just booted my PC up now. (Got stuck on an admin prompt for CCleaner) but since then nothing so i'm not sure if this has been fixed. I am confident i have no malware that would be causing this and i will update you if this happens again.

Thanks for reading this and thanks again for any replies.
P.s sorry if I have posted in the wrong forum for this.

An update on the crash scenario, just had a crash so not been solved by the hotfix. Also seem to be having a few driver crashes when playing games, so far i have played;
Dawn of War 2: Highest settings - No crash
H1Z1 - Highest settings - no crash
Neverwinter - Highest settings - consistent crashing
Dark souls 2: scholar of the first sin - 3 crashes.
My GPU is not overclocked and should easily be able to cope with all of these games. The card runs very hot but it is designed to do so, however the rest of my system is cool, even when under load as i have good cooling. CPU usually sits around 30 and my motherboard around 45.
Could all of my issues stem from the GPU?
