I was reading about a AMD FX 9590 being like a nuclear power plant so I decided to try and see what cooling I would need for it. I was wondering if a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan would be good enough to cool a amd 9590,

If not would this be able to LINK: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103202&Tpk=35-103-099&cm_sp=Cat-Fans-PC-Cooling_1-_-Pillars-_-212EVO_1

Thanks,

I would say no. It will likely struggle, the 212 evo is only designed to handle 180w tdp of heat, the 9590 is a 220w tdp cpu. Like kanewolf mentioned, you're probably going to want a very large air cooler (nh-d14/d15, dark rock pro 3 etc) or something like an h100i or kraken x61 aio to handle it. It's the hottest desktop cpu around, literally.

With 2 Fans in Push Pull under load your going to be skirting the Overheat point but it will work, a NH-D14,Noctua NH-D15 or Reeven Okeanos would be the best Air Coolers you could use for that thing. AMD recommends using either a closed loop liquid cooling or full system liquid cooling, anything on the lines of a H100 or better.
