Hello guys,

After doing tons of research online, I'm stuck.

I've just recently switched cases and am having an overheating issue. I'm using an AMD-fx 8320 CPU and Larkooler Skywater 330 liquid cooling system.

From what I understand after my research. This CPU's max safe temp is 62C. When I turn on my PC, after running for about 10 minutes it sits at 55C, when I load up a game (without even playing yet) temperature rises to 62C and hits 67C while gaming (Starcraft 2 on medium graphic settings).

I've already swapped fresh coolant into the system when I've switched cases, and made sure there's no foreign objects or kinks in the tubes.

I've just recently started upgrading parts and am pretty new to PC building (bought the PC from a friend) so this might be a stupid question, but does an outdated, crappy graphics card put more stress on a CPU? I've got dual Nvidia GTX 580s and dual 1080p monitors.

Greatly appreciate any help guys. Thanks in advance.

I have not yet re-seated the CPU. I was going to but couldn't find any thermal paste. I've ordered some online that will be arriving tomorrow. I'll re-seat it and update you then.

But, it seemed to work fine before the case swap. So I'm unsure if that's the issue, but it'll be another thing to check off of the list.

Thanks.
