Please share your thoughts.

I am on a budget PC use primarily for office works, internet and a little bit of gaming. eg Resident Evil 4 and Plants vs Zombies. I have an AMD A6 6400K with built in Radeon HD 8470D.

The question is, should I get an acient GPU like the Inno3D Geforce 210 to get a better performance because my RAM is just at 6GB DDR3 1333 and it gets used up with 20 tabs on the browser and a few Office apps in the background?

BTW, I am a woman who doesn't know much about these things.

Please enlighten me.

Almost any GPU will help since it will save your Memory, but you could also add more RAM. I'd probably get another stick for 8Gb and see how that helps. It may be enough and will help in any case, if it is not enough.

The CPU part of your APU is quite weak.

How much do you want to spend max?

APU's need fast ram, DDR3 1333 is not fast ram.

And the CPU portion of that APU is fairly weak, depending on your motherboard and how much your willing to spend there are a couple of options. You can replace your APU with a quad core. And faster ram will make a HUGE difference in graphics performance, not so much CPU performance.

Like DDR3 2133 thats what I use in my sons APU build and it works great
