I am working on a computer that I had just installed
the SATA hard drive for and the next day the d*mn
computer comes up with a blue screen of death
stating “NMI 30 check \memory 30 error system has
halted"...it's basically a system parity error.

Is this most likely just needing RAM to be re-seated, new RAM
bought? The motherboard was just cleaned of dust and it doesn't have any
blown caps.

Thanks in advanced for any helpful respone/s.

Solution
If you just cleaned the system, you probably left dirt or something in the memory slots which is now causing some errors. Blow the memory slots out with compressed air, and without the memory sticks in the slots, and take a soft cloth and wipe off the golden fins on the bottom of the memory sticks with rubbing alcohol gently. You do not want to remove the gold, just clean the contacts.
