Computer restarts constantly before or right after login

Hi everyone, my computer has been restarting by itself lately and I think it may be my motherboard, before the computer worked fine then I didnt use it for a few days and once I turned it on it just reset as soon as the Windows loading screen came up, after trying again and again I can finally log in but after I log in the gamma and brightness on my display drop down low and it gets very dark and it loads my desktop and instantly restarts, I tried switching the ram and same thing happened, my gpu works fine and everything is plugged in right the processor fan also works and has new thermal compound on it. This used to happened a week or 2 ago but only when I played something like borderlands 2 it would restart but very rarely now it won't even let me start

If it had this issue under load before it could be a faulty component. Try booting up with minimum components (1 stick of ram, cpu, hdd, psu) and if your cpu dont have graphics insert gpu aswell
Also see if you can boot into safe mode. If you can its a software issue and all you have to do is to system restore.
If it does that on safe mode you could try to factory reset/clean install. Still have that problem? - its definitely a hardware problem!
