why tmpin1 temp is at 40 c even at idle ???

my cpu temp i7 6700k
from core 0 to 3 between 27 to 32 c at idle package is 34 c
I'm using the noctua nh d15
motherboard z170x gaming 5

but what about tmpin1 is 40 c at idle ????

40 Degrees Is generally an acceptable temperature and should not cause your PC any damage, if however you feel like it should be lower, try installing some more case cooling.
