Hi everyone,

Hope you guys can help me out with a problem I am having. I have a custom built PC (specs below) that I have had for 5+ years, no problems. Today, however, I randomly started getting the BSOD while browsing the web. The computer would restart, boot as normal, and crash all over again. Eventually, it got to the point where Windows would try to boot up Startup Repair, and that would fail. I would select the option, Windows would try to boot up startup repair, and then I would loop back to the MSI screen all over again.

Currently, regardless of the options I choose (startup repair or boot Windows normally), it loops back to the MSI screen, with the normal short beep indicating it has posted, OR it sometimes the screen will just go black and nothing will happen (it won't even return to the MSI boot screen)

I am just barely above noob level, so if you guys could help me out that would be greatly appreciated! I am thinking it is the mobo, but I am not sure.

Some of the things I have tried:
1. Reset CMOS battery
2. Tried booting with only one stick of RAM (tried both sticks, same results)
3. Tried going into BIOS. I can get in to BIOS, but it freezes whenever I try to exit

Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 460 Processor
Mobo: MSI 7641 ver. 3.0
GPU: Raedon HD 6670
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
2 Sticks DDR3 Ram
2 Hard Drives and one DVD Drive

I was able to boot into safe mode...at first. I ended up doing a system restore in safe mode and pulled up a log of the system that was a couple days before this started. It didn't help, because once the restore was finished, the same problems occurred (reboot loops). I did not try to boot into safe mode afterwards.
