Really hope you guys can help with this. Noticed a similar post here that solved it.
I newly build a brand new skylake mini-ITX and I am experiencing this problem a lot.
I have tried updating drivers but I get a bluescreen very often during instalations so this is very difficult. Have also experienced other memory related BSOD (dont remember the error right now, but was with memory in it)
Below is a summary of installed hardware:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake
Motherboard: ASRock Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac
Memory: KINGSTON memory D4 2133 16GB C14 kit (HX421C14FBK2/16)
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390X Gaming 8GB GDDR5
I am using WIndows 10 64bit. UEFI installation worked fine. Acutally got a irql_not_less_or_equal BSOD around 80% when I tried a normal installation if that's related somehow. (?)
EDIT: Turns out the windows memory test that froze on 21% just took aaages to get to 22% and it finished (eventually) with 0 errors. So I guess it cant be the memory that its something wrong with?
