AMD graphics driver causing blank screen on boot

Hi all!

I've got the following:

MSI P55-GD65
Intel i5-750 @ 3.3
Sapphire R9 280
8 GB of random RAM
250 GB Sammy 840 (OS)
A bunch of 3TB WD Reds (storage)
Corsair 750W PSU
Win 7 64 bit

I've had a few hard resets recently due to a failing media disk (now gone), but no changes otherwise. However I booted up recently and the system gets to the "windows loading" splash screen but then the monitor tells me that the resolution isn't supported and to change it into 1920x1080 (Which it was at). Booting up in safe mode works fine, as the graphics drivers aren't loaded, however it does seem to hang on loading amdkmpfd.sys each time.

If I uninstall the graphics drivers (Using Driver Cleaner Pro) then I can boot up in regular mode again, but of course with no graphics drivers. Installing graphics drivers reintroduces the issue. I've tried both the current latest and the beta drivers, installed by me, and also just tried letting windows update handle it, but all three options gave the same problem.

I've tried system restore (no use), last known good config (boots up without graphics drivers but no good really either), I've tried fixing the MBR with bootrec, and I've tried Windows 7 automatic startup restore (no use).

Does anyone have any experience of similar issues? I feel like I'm going around and around in circles, and while there's a reasonable amount of references to amdkmpfd.sys online, most of it is about 2 years old and relates to failing hard disks (my SSD is fine) or pre-built systems with weird BIOSes and such like.

Thanks all.

Sorry folks, this one is solved but was stupid.

VGA cable for monitor 2 had falled out of the back of the GPU and for some reason windows was trying to stretch both monitors image onto the single one. Working fine now.
