2. MSI Z170A PC Mate
3. Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

I am a huge fan of Gigabyte. If not, I would lean towards the Asus board. I have never owned an Asrock or MSI board.

Any would do the job.
Do you have other considerations?
The motherboards are relatively new, so there is limited usage experience.
You can expect to see bios updates coming out for all.
I have used asus, and I am comfortable with their bios update process, so I would go that way.

I'd go the Pro Gaming from Asus, was thinking about it a lot, but went ahead and got the Hero, just put it together yesterday, will be playing with it and some different components (waiting for the release of the Trident Z DRAM, got 16GB of the Ripjaws V to play with until then

)

My vote goes for the asus especially if you plan to game on it
Asus is famous for its high quality boards and the pro gaming even has better feature set (for gaming)
So i would say in this case its asus hand down
this may not seem like it but im not a huge fan of asus they usually ask too much for their product being the "higher quality"
but in your particular case the option they offer is just better :/

No matter not a big deal you will get good performance dont worry what im saying is that would have been the only thing woth considering to spend money on again you will be fine with the i5 just the i7 is better but also more expensive sooo :/

As i am on low budget so i went for a ddr3l supported asus board
as my budget was also low for ddr4 ram

so my specs are -
16 gb ddr3 ram
and asus z170 pd3 board

and it's running good
as both come in a budget ddr4 board
