i have a pny 128gb 3.0 flash drive that will only write at 30mbps in a 3.0 slot

i have 2 pny 3.0 flash drives one will write at 80 - 90 mbps while the other will only write at 30 mbps.
want can i do to make the slower flash drive the same as the faster drive?
and i already exchanged the slower drive a few times now to best buy and still the same outcome

any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated

What brand is it? It could just be a cheaper brand that doesn't go as fast.

Are you testing by writing the same file? Writing a 1GB file will always be much quicker than 10x100mb files

Yes same model and size and yes I tested them by writing the same file, the file was around 1.7gb

just ran a benchmark on both drives

first link is the slower 3.0 drive looks like it is running at only 2.0 speeds

second link is the faster 3.0 drive looks like it is running at actual 3.0 speeds

any thoughts
