Hi!

I have some front panel connectors I want to attach to the USB headers on my motherboard, but there aren't enough free ones, so I bought this thing so I could have some extra external ones, and some internal ones to connect stuff to.

However, the internal cables end with something like this:

and I want to connect them to something like this:

I've been trying to find an adapter/connector thingie on Newegg but I can't seem to find exactly what I need. Many of them are 19 pin and stuff like that.

Is there such a thing as an adapter that would let me connect the 9pin cable to a regular (type A?) USB port?

Thanks!!

Thanks! But not quite what I had in mind. I also made an error in my original post - the internal 9 pin header is female, not male. So I need to attach that to a USB port on the USB expansion card I bought.

Update:

I found this thing here: http://www.moddiy.com/products/USB-9%252dPin-Internal-Motherboard-Male-Header-to-USB-Type%252dA-Adaptor.html

It's exactly what I need, and it seems to be custom made. So I'm guessing such a thing doesn't normally exist elsewhere? Odd, I would've thought it would be more common than that. Oh well!
