I guys i'm looking to have a PC for gaming/ editing. But i'm very limited with my budget. I want to edit for YouTube. what should i get? i would like to make a build under 1000$ canadian tax included. please help..

the i7 4790k is a better cpu, faster and 2x the treads which helps with editing. it really comes down to your budget and you will still NEED some other comonents.

8-16 gigs ram. speed isn't that important
a nice gpu. essential for any gaming.
quality psu. dont cheap out on the psu i can kill the whole computer if it fails.

Since your main purpose of the build is gaming get the i5 4690K processor and put the savings in the gaming performance of the PC. You will be a lot happier if your gaming performance is good and it takes 10 more minutes to get the video ready to post than if your gaming performance is lacking but you can get the video ready a few minutes quicker.
If you had a higher budget then I could see the i7 but your going to also need 2 hard drives to get good performance one to read the game from and another to record to.
With your budget depending on where you live (the tax rate varies) you might not even be able to get a i5 4690K processor and still get decent parts plus a good video card especially if you need to include a operating system with the budget.
The lowest price 4790K I can find their with free shipping is 439 bucks so that is 100% out of the question.
After looking at the prices their all I can say is ouch after taxes probably over your budget with a i5 4460 and just a GTX 950 video card. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/6XTBBm
In that price range your going to need to build a AMD PC and take a processor hit to get a decent video card or lower your game settings depending on the games you play.

i disagree on getting a amd cpu even if he did get a 6-8 core one it will struggle in gaming and wont work any better then a i5 even in the best conditions. if your willing to be a bit creative you might be able to get the performance you want with

dual used xeon x5677's only if you can get them below 100 each
used z800 mobo below 100
12 used 2gig sticks of ddr3 ecc ram
gtx 970

i dont know if these components are available near you but if they are it should work nice.
