Okay I have a PC first gen i7 rog maximus mobo my PC will shut down randomly usually when HDD is under load (installing\opening) but will shut down when idle as well might work for hour or two seemingly fine and poof its like someone ripped the cord from PSU
I have replaced HDD PSU tried different ram and os...... can't seem to solve this issue
I can boot to bios and PC will stay on no problem without powering off so PSU and most hardware is working???
All temps are good I have ran stress test passed no problem
I have Linux on a USB stick os and PC will stay on if using USB
A friend suggested it was something to do with raid controller
I updated the bios still shutting down on me
How can I get this PC working how do I fix the raid controller? Is there a work around
I tried different data cords/ports
I have had this issue for 2years now every few months I'll attempt to fix it again I all but given up...... Anyone know what's going on??
