I have attempted to do the device management Ethernet uninstall and reboot of windows, but to no avail, instead, I have this.

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."

and

"Device PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_E091&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_10\4&7ef09b9&0&00E2 requires further installation."

Basically windows can't identify which even model/manufacturer of the Ethernet support on my motherboard is for. I have also tried installing the Intel drivers off the Intel site but again it fails in the middle of installation.

My motherboard is a z97mx gaming 5 from gigabyte. Do I need to download an extension from their support page, update the bios? if so I don't know how to do that, if that is what needs to be done than some extra help may be required.
