Are these specs good, and is everything compatible here for a gaming pc. (I will also be using it for rendering, recording, and streaming)

Intel Core i7-4790k
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0
16GB DDR3 1600MHz G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series RAM
Corsair CX750M 750 Watt Power Supply
Corsair Hydro Series H110 Liquid CPU Cooler
ASRock Z97 Extreme6 Intel Z97 ATX Motherboard
3TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive
Samsung 530 Series 256GB SATA III SSD
NZXT S340 (red) ATX Mid Tower Case

Here are my thoughts:

1. I'd take a look at a better PSU than the low-quality / low-tiered CX Series of Corsair.

2. If you are gaming on a 1080p monitor, then the GTX 970 is a beast (max settings in all games)

3. If you plan to game at 1440p, the GTX 970 will perform good in most games except for graphic-intensive ones. A GTX 980 is better (but more expensive, price-wise and value-wise).

4. If you plan to game at 4K resolutions, GTX 980 Ti is the way to go.

5. If 1080p or 1440p gaming with GTX 970 is enough for you and your budget, the GTX 970-rig only requires a recommended wattage of a 500W good-quality PSU. Your initially-selected 750W is an overkill. Good-quality means top-tiered models/brands such as Seasonic, EVGA, XFX, Antec, etc.

6. The rest of your choices are good. Might think about the 3TB Seagate HDD though as there are reports that its life-expectancy / failure rates are higher than Western Digital (depending on the exact Seagate model).

Yes.
If you really planing for overclock stick with liquid cooler though they are bit risky but chances are short. It depends how well you install the AIO & if you don't then get a good Air Cooler. If you like corsair then get the GTX model.
SSD: As per as i know, it will be Intel 530 series. If you do like Intel as it will be great choice, i would suggest you get the Intel 750 series ssd.
HDD: Seagate do have failure reports but not for all. I like the Hybrid series of seagate or WD Black will also be a good choice but they are a bit expensive than seagate.

Rest all seems just fine.
