I installed a Club3D R280X royal queen 3 gig video card and the fans work but no video. I have a EVGA 850 G2 PSU so the power is good but I think it might be the DirectX®? I had another graphics card on that board DirectX® 11 and works fine so I know its not the motherboard! All is 3.0!
Will DirectX® 11 motherboard run a DirectX® 12 video card?

The motherboard has nothing to do with what dx version the video card supports. Are both the proper power connections plugged into the card? Can you try the card in another system?
