Looking for some pro opinions here. My current system runs great for being old faithful. I currently run some old game titles just fine on medium settings (StarCraft II, brink, warhammer). But now that I'm interested in some new titles, requirements for a better gpu ar demanded obviously. I'm looking at nvidia gt 730 just to stay current. Don't care about the ultra or high settings, just don't want to bottleneck.

Also, I'll be upgrading the machine with a higher capacity sshd, and maybe 8 gigs of ram. If I could still find ddr2 memory that's compatible with my mobo.

My current system specs:
Mobo intel dg41rq
Intel duo core E7500
4 gigs of ram
Nvidia gt 220
500w psu

Thanks for the fast response. That extra $50 bucks for this gpu does make the most sense. I would definitely need to upgrade my ram to 8 gb's per its system requiments. Also, it requires a Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz, but not much of a cpu gap there.

Here is a link on the Nvidia gt 730 vs Radeon R7 250x going head to head and its requirements.
