Is my Cpu temp normal??

I have recently built pc. My cpu is core i5 4440 (3.3 GHz). According to HWMonitor my cpu temp is around 40°C in idle mode. Having an ambient temp of 35°C. Is it normal?? Looking for your replies. Thanks. :)

I'm assuming you only have a stock cooler, so those temp readings are normal. I got an i5-4460 and my idle is 28C (but I installed an aftermarket cooler).

Try to monitor your temps at load. You shouldn't reach the 80C + temps. If it does, then I suggest you get an aftermarket cooler (air or liquid depends on the environment where your PC is at).
