Just cloned my HDD, what now?

Hey everyone so I recently dropped my HDD bending the sata pins and breaking off the plastic piece that snaps onto the sata cable. I've still been using it, holding the cable in with duct tape but I bought a new HDD and cloned it using Macrium Reflect. I switched the drive letters so that my new one is using the letter that my old one had.

My question is, can I now get rid of the old one? Will everything run like nothing changed or is there something else I need to do before getting rid of the old drive?

Thanks!

Assuming your clone worked correctly. You should just physically plug the new drive into the same cable port as the old one. Remove the bad drive, and boot up your system. It shouldn't know the difference (assuming, the clone worked). You need not have bothered switching drive letters.
