Hi I just put together my first build and for some reason it wont post. when I hit the power button the leds and fans start for a second and then immediately shut off. All of the parts I have are new out of the box ordered from Newegg. My build specs are: Intel i-7 4790k(4.0ghz), MSI Z97 pc mate motherboard, EVGA GTX 960, 16gb DDR3 G.Skill ram, 2tb seagate hdd and a Rosewill ARC 650W power supply.

allot of time this means the Power Connectors are not installed correctly, or you have a bad CPU Socket. Make sure the 8pin and 24pin are secured and that the CPU pins are not bent or broken.
