GeForce GTX 760 Super Clocked ACX 2GB GDDR5 SLI Ready or GTX 980? Confused.

Some specs:
I5-4690
16GB RAM
H97

H97 chipset will not support sli. Gtx 980 is faster than sli 760. If you can afford it, get 980. Gtx 970 or r9 390 are a much better buys than gtx 980.

Yes, z97 supports sli. Sli 760 would still lose to the gtx 980 will that chipset. The gtx 970 and 390 are better buys as they cost significantly less than gtx 980 buy find itself in the same performance tier. At $500, gtx 980 is a bad value from a performance per dollar standpoint.

I don't know what you mean. Gtx 980 is faster than 970 or 390 but not worth the extra $150.
