i5 6600k or i7 4790, NEW PC

Wich one is better for gaming between the i5 6600k and i7 4790? Are there better ones for similar prices?(I don't plan on overclocking) Wich motherboard would be best with wich cpu? And are there any graphics cards you would reccomend?( I was thinking nvidia 970) :)

If your PC is only for gaming and you don't plan to overclock, then get the best price-performance i5-4460. It will serve its purpose while saving you a lot of bucks for other upgrades.

Get the H97 or H97M motherboards that will complement the locked i5 CPU. Don't get the Z97 since it's for overclocking.

Get a 2x4GB RAM DDR3-1600MHz.

Now, for the graphics card, it would depend on your monitor. If you're gaming on a 1080p, then GTX 970 would max. most, if not all, games. If budget is tight, consider GTX 960 or R9 380. If gaming on 1440p, then get the GTX 980 or GTX 980 Ti.
