Core voltage Small Question v2

So.. I had asked here about increasing core voltage and you said its not safe and good for the gpu to increase it a lot but in the guide on toms hardware which says how to do Safe overclocking says to crank up the voltage to maxinum...

Why??

who told you not to??? you have to increase the voltage to get a decent oc on it. and although it might decrease the life time on the gpu it should still last for years. go ahead and increase the voltage

So... If I crank up the voltage to +100mv when it automatically goes to 1.212mv and get it to 1500mhz+ how many years you believe the palit super jetstream will last?

(10 hours daily gaming)

Also is it ok to crank the voltage when going into games only? (when not +0 voltage)

it should still last in excess of 5 years. its very difficult to predict though

Ok... I probobly will do +40 (1445mhz) and +450 4050mhz memory with no more voltage..

Yes cause i feel little uncomfortable knowing that by doing this I harm slowly my gpu... And ai will probobly 99% keep it for 5 years.... I still have a Palit gts 250... From 2009
