I have IBM Lenovo m58p 6209 Tower machine

System Details are:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16GHz (6MB L2 cache)
Memory: 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM @ 1066 MHz
Motherboard: Q45 Intel.

Hi there syed_alijan,

Yes, it seems that this MOBO has 5 SATA 2 ports.
Which WD drive are you planning to get? It will most probably be SATA 3 one, which will be backwards compatible with your SATA 2 ports.

Let me know in case you have some more questions,

I going to buy Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB, please suggest.

What are you going to use it for?

In case you already have a boot drive, and you need a secondary storage one, WD Green(power efficient characteristics) would be a good choice.
In case you want to use it as a boot drive, you could consider WD Blue or WD Black(performance oriented drive with 5 years of limited warranty).

More on their features:
