This is my problem form start to finish.

I have a reletivly new computer less than a year old (Specs: Asus maximus vii ranger, i5 4690k, 16gb Kingston hyperx 1866, gtx 760) today after playing abit of mad max wich I had just finished downloading today I decided I was going to play a match of league of legends with my friend and Skype with him.

I went to Skype him and it stopped responding I thought this was odd and quit Skype, I tired to relaunch it and nothing not even a pop up in the processes so o thought a restart would do the trick. After about 30 minutes into the restart we finally reached the desktop (this is a very abnormal wait time) so I thought I'd restart again (I did it via the start menu both times) it reached the desktop much faster but didn't run any start up programs.

I waited a full half hour and still nothing tried the launch Skype and still nothing I tried the task manager but the computer didn't respond to ctrl alt del. I clicked shutdown this time and unplugged it from the wall waited 30 seconds plugged it back in tried again this time we just went to a black screen after the Asus ROG post screen. I decided to pull apart the computer and put it back together (by this time I assumed it was a hdd failure) went to boot after rebuilding the computer and a black screen again ( this backed up my assumptions ) I was so frustrated I went to get a drink when I came back the screen had 2 options run Windows normally or repair I selected repair and it took a solid hour to finish.

It supposedly did a system restore point but it went back to where I left off pretty much so the computers working again for a small time that was and now we're at the present where I am still having trouble and decided to write this post programs are becoming in responcivr and slow to open if I click more than once on Skype it will stop responding as do other applications when opened and I have no idea what's doing it my antivirus has not detected anything ( I'm running avira antivirus).

I'm just really stuck and I'm sorry this is so long and I'm probably not going to get a reply but I thought I better explain what happened in detail as to get the most accurate responces thank you for your time.
