For my ASRock H97 Anniversary mother board, I was going to add a Noctua NF-F12 case fan, however it seems that it has a 4 pin connector and there is only one 4-pin connector for CPU fan on this board which is obviously in use, Should it be connected to the 4-pin chassis fan connector? It seems that is the only option,

Also, where do I connect the built-in 3-pin case fan? Is this a chassis or power fan connection?

Thanks
Charles

Solution
Does your case have a fan controller anywhere behind the mobo on the backside? The 4th pin would only be to control speed, so you can use a 3 pin connector. As long as the mobo connector says Sys fan then it should be fine to plug your fans into them. If you have run out of spots and don't have a fan controller, consider buying one.

You could buy something cheap like either of these:
