No the CX series are not very good. That is why they are always on sale. The low quality capacitors can't standup to the load of demanding GPUs. I recommend the seasonic s12ii psu which is selling for $52. The only power supply cheaper then that that I could halfway recommend that will power a gtx 960 is an antec vp450.
