I have 8gb RAM Problem

I have 4x2 RAM and when i switch to 1866mhz in bios only one stick works, i bought the memory sticks at different times, do i have to buy new set of RAM ?

All DIMMs have to operate at the same speed and timings. With some luck, you should be able to get both DIMMs to run at the slower speed and effective timings of the two.

Hello...There is more settings in the BIO's, you can change, too help 1866 compatibility... But in real world performance running 8GB@1600 @1T will be OK too...
1) Try first setting your MB performance to "Standard" 'save & exit" and then try the 1866 setting again.

When i play some games i get ram memory usage to 6gb, i also have problems with games as they dont work properly i tried to overclock cpu but i need 1866mhz to get to the point i eill be happy with the overcklock but when i go up to make cou 4.5 ghz then save&exit the pc doesnt want to go to windows so i have to restart pc and go back factory defaults.
