I am going to purchase the Gigabyte GA-H97M-HD3 motherboard.
Gigabyte's website has specific memory modules listed for this motherboard such as the CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) CML8GX3M2A1600C9.
Is there any reason why the Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Memory Model BLS2K4G3D169DS1J would not work with my system?
I was not sure if I had to stick to the memory choices listed on the motherboard manufactures website.
