Driver update utilities are generally bad, they are basically there to get spyware on your system or get you to pay for the functionality when you can get the drivers directly from the system vendor.

Installing your SP2 disk and then upgrading to SP3 is fine, .Net, java, Flash, Adobe reader, OpenOffice or LibreOffice, Avira antivirus for a free solution for that.

Run all MS update patches.

Won't be the best setup for modern times, but if you can't get Windows 7, you'll just have to deal with possible security holes.
first off try finding on ebay a copy of xp with service pack 3 already installed. if not find the older install disk with service pack two and download to a usb service pack 3.

use these free tips and software and make a new iso image..add all the drivers you need and your aps that your work needs to one image.
when done making the new iso use the free microsoft iso to usb tool to make a new bootable usb or cd rom disk.
with your office if your the it guy or helping him...try keeping all the pc the same model or parts. for anti virus look at the big named guys...see if there product will still support xp. then buy a site license for there software. as these are older pc try using one that small and light like bitdefender or the newer ones like avg or avast.
the last step is back up and or recovery. cheapest is having a pc or network device in the office and having the right software that backup the data that new that someone makes. as you have a disk image for the office.
also look at online cloud backup. if there a fire or flood at work and all the hardware is gone you want offsite backup.with offsite you should do it every quater as a min. if you do it every six moths or one year that a lot of records that have to be redone by hand.

Well I just wanna know what I need to install in my programs list, and where I can get software, and what is the best versions for best performance? Old pc is real headache, cause I don't how to maintain it, everything eats ram and cpu, or crashing, and lagging. What is the sequence or full installation?

-Do I need instal sp2(i have original) and upgrade to sp3?
-What windows software I need to install(net. framework, ms visual c++, silverlight, MSXML Parser, and etc. etc.)?
-How to fully install pc drivers?
-And everything else for office, browsing, little music, video, security and etc.

I really need help...
