Does HDD efficiency matter?

I've already got an 850 Pro Series for my C:\ Drive, so I won't be installing OS on any HDD's, only games. I've got a WD Green 1TB with all my games on it, and I'm needing more space, and I don't think I'll ever need more than 2TB HDD space. If I get a WD Caviar Black 1TB, will it be NOTICEABLY better than a 1TB Caviar Blue for gaming? The blue is obvs cheaper so...

Solution
Ideally, you should move your games off the WD Green, and to the Black or Blue. The Green is good for static things...backups, a music folder.
Games? No so much.

Is the Black 'faster' than the Blue. Maybe, but you might not notice. The Black can be had in larger sizes, with a better warranty, though.

The black is faster, more reliable and more of a warranty. Every black drive I've purchased is still running. I don't even look at anything else.

Will it be a huge noticeable difference, not really. However overall its not that much difference in price, and for my data its cheap insurance.

Actually yes it will be noticeably faster, However the difference will not be like the difference between an SSD vs. HDD. The biggest difference between the Blue and Black besides the warranty is read and write speeds. Black is much faster than the blue when comparing the two plus they have a 5 year warranty. Blue's are more budget and Economy, money and electrically wise, oriented than the blacks. When it comes to games you still want to have the higher read speeds for loading times to be lower.

OK, so based on your answers everyone, I'm probably going to go for a WD Black 2TB for storage space, efficiency and warranty. And yes, I was going to move my games off of the green and use it for documents and backups, however I needed another drive for it xD.

Thanks for the help :D
