Does My Intel Warranty Cover PSU Failure

My PSU recently died in that process it damaged my CPU it is a Intel i5-4670K do you think the warranty would cover it or do I have to just pay for a new one?

Technically it should not as your CPU did not fail due to a manufacturing defect or anything Intel had control over. The right thing to do would be to suck it up and buy a new CPU.
