Could someone tell me what is wrong with my RAM and the RAM usage on my computer?

Hello, I've been noticing that my computer uses upwards of 60% of its RAM when idling. This struck me as strange due to it happening after computer resets/powerdowns and due to the fact that I have 16gb of RAM. What is happening to my computer?

Do you have adware protection, virus protection, spyware protection?
If your computer idles at 60% RAM usage when u got 16gb, could be malware which has gotten a hold in ur system.
Try http://www.iobit.com/en/advanced-systemcare-antivirus.php
Use free version, it should give you an indication.

I refreshed my computer and it seemed to get rid of the problem, be it malware or something else.
