I recently purchased a new desktop microphone, the Blue Nessie. Its a usb microphone that's plugged into the mobo on my machine. When using the windows sound configuration and I'm listening to the mic, it sounds great and clear. When I use the microphone in teamspeak3 or ventrillo, the overall quality sounds just tinny and muffled on both applications and in the sound test of both applications. I use push to talk on both. Setting the microphone volume higher makes it louder but I still sound like I'm speaking in a tin can. I anyone has a suggestion to why this would be an issue, I would appreciate the help. Additionally, I did a test with audacity and I sound just as well as I do listening to the device on windows.

Thanks ahead of time,
Vox

Well their are a few things that go into streaming voices over a network. The main one being compression. I'd check your vent/ teamspeak settings. See if you can increase the bandwidth to improve sound quality. Also dependent on your internet as well.
