Hi everyone
first of all her is the config of the old pc :
Cpu : Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz
MOBO: Asus P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP
GPU : ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series ( with 1GB as far as i remember )
Ram : (2x2gb) ( Corsair CM3X2G1333C9 - 1333mhz if am correct )
PSU :enermax 500w (80+ bronze i think )

All in a Enermax Phoenix Neo Case with 2 12cm rear/front fans and 25cm side fan.
And A 22 Samsung with a max resolution Of 1680x1050 (so the games will run at that resolution) and later i will upgrade to a 1080p
-----------------------------------------------
so am planing to upgrade some parts but am not really sure that they are the right ones.
so am planing to add more rams (2x2gb) 1333mhz corsair xms ( same model that i have on the build i think , it's the third one on the list) : http://www.prokoo.com/ddr3-1333mhz-c-3_51_198_56_1133_42_191_1093.html?page=2&sort=prezzoa
i have two more slots left so it will be a total of 8gb 1333mhz rams
---------------------------
and am planing to change my old Radeon 4800 with one of theses but am not really sure :
http://www.prokoo.com/r9-380-c-3_51_198_56_1133.html?page=1&sort=prezzoa (380 seires)
http://www.prokoo.com/gtx-950-c-3_51_199_57_1140.html?page=1&sort=prezzoa (950 series)
---------------------------------------------------
however i am a little bit concerned about few things . am gonna try to be as clear as possible
1- is the mobo compatible with all these new upgrades !?
2- will theses card ( especially the 380 ) fit in that build in terms of PSU ( i have 500w )
3-are theses cards not overkill for the build , and especially for the CPU !?
4-will one of theses card will be bottlenecked by the cpu and if yes will it be in all games !?
5-if i could OC the CPU ( to keep up with the gpu if its being bottlenecked ) will the 500w psu handle the 380/950+OC cpu , and will the stick intel cpu fan be enough !?
-------------------------------------------------------
am not searching to hit that 60fps spot , but i just want to play recent games like
Gta V , Bf 4 , crysis 3 ( old ) , the new batman , assasin's creed , mortal combat x , far cry , tomb raider ....... and list goes on , you guy's get the idea .
but i just want solid fps like from medium to high ( maybe ultra in certain games ) in 40-50-55 fps , the maximum drop for me that's it just can't drop under 30fps that will be unacceptable for me. keep in mind that i am currently playing on a 1680x1050 display and will be upgrading later.

there you go guy's i hope it was clear enough so u guy's can give a direct answer/advice

thanks for your help !

Your PSU should be able to handle it,
the 1333 ram seems to be fine, but i suggest buying 8 GB so 4 new chips instead of 2 chips and then 2 more chips. unless they identicle.
Your CPU is old, but is still okay , but I would not over clock. unless you have extremely good cooling you will just make your CPU die faster and shorten its lifespan.
The bottleneck will probably be the CPU/mobo/Ram but if you are on a budget the gfc card and ram will be a good upgrade for now.
Most games are not that CPU intensive.

I don't think you be able to install the 380 but your should be able to do a 950 or better yet a 960 since your power supply is lower.
You may see a tad bit of bottlenecking with your system but I am using a older 775 board with a e 8400 4 gig ram and a gtx 660 and it will run battlefield hardline so I hope this helps...

yes i am a bit on a budget , so that's why am going to the (2xgb ram) and probably this will be the only first and last upgrade that i make to this pc , i will be getting a new one after that .
so if i get a 212evo or be quiet rock cpu cooler the overclocking will be fine ! ?
if so , can the 500w psu handle a 190w tdp r9 380 ( which is the same 190w tdp as the current one in my build )
or i get a gtx 950 which is a 90w tdp so i can save more Wattage and room for the overcloking cpu !?
thank's

Your PSU power output is fine, just check if it has enough 6 pin/8 pin connectors.

I would not overclock, try the system without the overclocking then worry about buying a additional cooler and overclocking.
