hello guys im super stressed abotu destroying my pc parts and i wanted to ask my table is wooden i have a wooden chair i can sit on and also if i touch my metal side panel ofthe pc and turn off my psu i will e okay? what else should i do?

Solution
plug in the PSU to a grounded outlet, and keep it off, have it sit on your table, and touch it periodically or whenever grabbing a new piece. that is the 100% safe way, the other way is to just touch large metal things. a wooden chair is fine, but I find you have to stand to build, a PC. try to not stand on carpet or wear fuzzy slippers.

No matter the horror stories about how often ESD damages a system during it's build, it's actually very rare, though it does still happen.

Your precautions are more than adequate. (Touch your grounded PSU and case at the same time when your return to your build area and you should be good.)
