Planning to buy this config

Intel i5-6500 3.2 GHz Skylake CPU Processor
Asus Z170 Z170-P Socket 1151 Motherboard
Gskill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 F4-2133C15D-8GRR RAM
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
MSI NVIDIA 970GTX Gaming
seasonic st2ii 620w PSU
cabinet cosair carbide spec 01

Is this good enough for gaming? will it last me for atleast 4 years at 1080p gaming?

Solution
That is a killer gaming rig that will do everything at ultra settings at 1080p. It will likely last you through the current console generation (4-6yr).

Also, if you are getting an unlock processor like the Skylake you will want to get an aftermarket cooler. The popular recommendation is the cooler master hyper 212 EVO.

It's a pretty significant performance drop, but the R9 380 and GTX 960 are capable modern graphics cards, for reference look at this chart for Thief (one of the more demanding modern games) at very high presets.
http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2015-vga-charts/06-Thief-1080p,3669.html

The GTX 970 is up around 70-75 fps while the GTX 960 is around 50fps.
Basically the GTX 970 has way more horsepower and will give you some future proofing while the other cards you mentioned are fine for modern gaming.
