Will this change worth it? GTX 560Ti 1gb to GTX 960 4GB

For $230, you should be buying either one of these:

MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card ($219.99)

or

Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB Nitro Video Card ($213.98)

Much cheaper, more powerful than the 960.

Depends. Your current card is a capable gaming card that can run all modern games at medium settings at a minimum. The upgrade will make it so that you can play most games at high or ultra settings at 1080p.
So how valuable is it to you to have your games look a bit nicer.

How much GPU you can upgrade to and make beneficial use of is very much contingent on your CPU. If you can't feed the GPU, it doesn't matter how fast it is. Yes, all of the above cards mentioned will be an upgrade from a 560Ti, but how much more performance you will see depends on the rest of your system.

Yes, a GTX 960 should be quite an improvement over a GTX 560 Ti 1GB. I upgraded from a GTX 550 Ti to a GTX 650 Ti (both 1GB cards) and noticed a good improvement to video quality, so a huge jump to a GTX 960 4GB should let you play most games on high or max settings.

The nice thing about the GTX 960 4GB card that hasn't been mentioned here is that it uses only 10 watts more power than a GTX 650 Ti 1GB and only needs a minimum 400 watt power supply with the same 20A on the +12V rail as the GTX 650 Ti. Pretty sure your GTX 560 Ti has similar requirements to the GTX 650 Ti.

The R9 380 4GB card mentioned will need 28A on the +12V rail and a minimum 500 watt power supply. If your power supply has both those minimums then you could go for that card.

For me, the choice was to go GTX 960 4GB due to my power supply... and my personal preference of NVidia over AMD. AMD video cards tend to run hot, and so, make more noise, and as a result of heat may not last as long. Maybe AMD is changing this? The GTX 960, however, is a very quite, efficient video card.
