Greetings

I own an Intel Corporation DH61WW BTWW23600T6M AAG23116-302 mother board, there is a vga build in it.

I have as well ( the one currently using ) an external gpu nvidia geforce gtx 660.

Is it possible to run two monitors at the same time ? I need the second only as extended desktop.

I dont want to use the two screens on the same card, id like each screen to be on separate cards.

Thanks a lot.

Any particular reason you don't want to use the outputs on your GPU? Your description sounds exactly like what they are intended to be used for. It's the easiest way to set things up and will give you the best performance.

I'm not familiar with all of the BIOS options available on your particular motherboard, but if it is possible to use both at once, there will be a bios setting that will enable the integrated gpu even with a dedicated card installed. Some motherboards, however, do not include this setting.

My understanding is soon as a gpu is added your on board is typically disabled.
You can switch in the bio to a default setting on which one you want but never heard of being able to use both.
