Ive been looking for the best processor to put in my next rig and these 3 seem like my best choices.
My budget isnt really an issue, ill be putting in high end water cooling regardless so lets just say ill spend up to $500 on a processor~

My main point of confusion here is which processor will deliver the best real world performance. The specs on the 9590 look so much higher on paper but all comparisons ive seen show both intels being superior.

Also id like to know the real difference between the 4790k and 6700k. From the benchmarks ive seen theyre quite similar and the 4790k is significantly cheaper and more available than the *out of stock everywhere* 6700k.

Solution
in gaming there is not a lot of difference between the 4790k and the 6700k but for newer tech the 6700k is they way to go. The 9590 is garbage avoid like the plague. The 4790k will get you great performance for sure and there are some deals to be had. But if you want access to ddr4 or any new features the 6700k is your chip.

I would not use the FX 9590 in any computer of mine.

Look at these benchmark comparisons http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/intel-skylake-core-i7-6700k-versus-core-i7-4790k-cpu-benchmarks.html

The 6700K environment is significantly more expensive.
