My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-EP43T-UD3L and my old ram is KHX1699C9D3/2G.I upgraded to 4GB kingston hyperx savage 1600mh but when i put the stick in my pc doesn't boot. It works with my old ram. How can i make it work?

Solution
The P43 is designed towards the then common low density memory modules, the Savage, like most current lines of DRAM utilize high density memory ICs, might look to try say the original GSkill Ripjaws (not the X or Z Ripjaws) or their NT series of value DRAM, both still use low density ICs
