White flashing screen with pink dots

Hi all,
over the past couple weeks while starting up my computer, my monitor would flash white with pink dots scattered over the screen. I power it off and restart it and there is no issue. this has happened 3 times in two weeks. It only happens when its been powered off for some time such as overnight. What could be causing this issue? overheating?
computer specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
CPU: AMD FX-6300
Memory: 16gb GSkill ripjaw 1800 MHz
MB: MSI 970A-G46
Video: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760, 4gb
HD: 500gb samsung ssd
Monitor: Asus VS247

I would appreciate any help!

Hello,

I'm having the same issue dont know what could be, its not overheathing and because we have a diferent setup might be from the windows because its the only thing that is comun. If i get anything solution i will update u ;)

I had the same problem for few weeks I think it might have happend couse of gpu overheating,I have HP pavillion g6,after days of trying to solve the problem without any results,today I decided to turn ny laptop on after a few days of giving up and decided to try fixing it for the last time and I got really frustrated and started hitting my laptop on the keyboard and I shit you not the pink and green dots just disappeared.
I don't suggest you guys trying it unless you are like really desperate or careless,any way I am really happy the issue was solved and never would have thought I would solve it in a aggressive way.
