My internal and external hard drives are both the same brand, while trying to uninstall the external hard drive drivers I accidentally did it on the internal one, after that my computer asked me to restart but when it was trying to boot I got a INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE BSOD it happened twice and then went to repair mode, it said it couldn't be fixed so it'd try to go to a previous restore state but nothing happens it only stays stuck in a black screen with the VAIO logo (I have a Sony laptop) I tried doing the restore myself in the troubleshoot section but unfortunately there aren't any saved, I don't know why because I always make sure there are. I don't know what I can do now, is it really the hdd drivers that's causing this problem? Is there any way I can fix this without having to completely restore and reinstall windows 8?

After looking for a solution I found the bootrec commands and that fixed the booting issues.

troubleshoot > advanced options > command prompt

bootrec /FixMbr
bootrec /FixBoot
bootrec /ScanOs
bootrec /RebuildBcd
