So.. recently I've been using my computer perfectly until today i opened it and the screen is just flashing with a folder and question mark inside the folder.. i let it flash for some time and it still doesn't go through, so i researched some Google shit and told me to press Command+R to recover.. when i do that.. all i get is a black page with a small Lock in the middle and password field.. and i have no idea what the password is for that since I've never picked that.. any help please?

OK so it means that you have no directory to boot to. It could be very possible that you hard drive is damaged or has been completely erased. The lock screen is the administrators password. You will have to go to either the apple store or a place that services apple computers. Or if you have another mac at home download the latest version of OSX and get a 2.5 inch hard drive. Any hard drive that will work in a computer. And then boot from the new copy of OSX and format your new hard drive then boot from that. Whatever works for you.
