AM3 or FM2+ is better for gaming experience?

Hi all,
As the topic said already, I am building my own a PC and with the limited budget, I probably stick with AMD cpu. However there are a lot of opinion around this sockets thing and I just want to have a specific answer for it, thanks all.
P.s: the game I am currently aiming for is GTA V, Battlefield 4 (medium high setting?)
also online game World of Tanks which is a high graphic demand game I suppose (medium high setting)

* I also got a radeon X9 280k already.

Hi, it is just because I heard that FM2+ motherboard isn't compatible with video card (which i don't have one as well). As i mentioned before, I have a radeon R9 hence I want to find a suitable spu with the socket that will support video card, tks
P.s I'm currently looking at AMD athlon x4 860 cpu (FM2+)

AM3+* But there are some motherboards that support both sockets.
The 8350 will perform really well in the games you mentioned.

The x4 860k is a really good CPU for its price. It will play the games you mentioned alongside that GPU at medium settings 60fps.
