Replace secondary hdd with a new one without reinstalling programmes?!

Hello. Today i bought a new hdd and i wan to know if i can move all my stuff from my old hdd to the new one. Windows are on ssd, so i only have there programmes,videos etc.. I read something about disk clone but i dont know much so i hope somebody can explain it. My old hdd is 250gb and the new one is 1tb so i dont have space issues.

use cloning software to copy the old HDD data to the new one. I suggest Acronis as an easy to use cloning program.

For a secondary drive, you don't even have to worry about cloning.
Simply copy everything to the new drive, and swap the drive letters around so the new drive has the same drive letter as the old drive.
